Drivers: Pick-up donated food
from restaurants and deliver it to the After Party venue. The driver stays
in the car while the food runner goes into the restaurant.
VIP Reception Crew: Help set up the VIP Reception venue for the event and
restore the space after the event. Volunteers should be in good physical
health.
Greeters: Provide a friendly greeting to all guests as they enter the lobby
and help guide them to the theatre entrance, washrooms etc.
Party Crew: Assist in transfer of food from the kitchen to tables pre-party
and during the party. Assist with filling of trays and ensuring the party
area looks well tended.
All volunteers will be required to attend a volunteer orientation session
taking place in May. Volunteers will also be required to attend a separate
volunteer meeting in June and must be available on June 30, 2008, the date
of the Dora Award Show ceremony.
