Consumer

which is well worth reading:

If you are
uncertain about an opportunity, a simple internet search using the company
name or key words and phrases in the advertisement will often yield valuable
information. The best rule of thumb, as always, is if it seems
to-good-to-be-true, it likely is and should be avoided.
TorontoJobClassifieds.com views opportunities that require an up-front
investment on the job seeker's part to be business opportunities rather than
employment opportunities. We do our best to screen these types of
advertisements out of our free ad pages, except for the "Work at Home"
classification page. We cannot guarantee the authenticity of
business opportunities advertised on TorontoJobClassifieds.com. If you
discover such a business opportunity being advertised in the free
classifieds pages, other than "Work at Home" or discover that an opportunity
is in any way fraudulent, please
contact us so that we
may rectify the situation.
If you are
contacted to meet an employer for an interview, ensure that it is at a
legitimate place of business, not a private residence or vehicle.
Legitimate job interviews should occur in a public place during normal
business hours. If you are at all nervous or unsure about an interview
situation reschedule the interview until you can investigate the opportunity
further. |
