Detailed description: 1.Purchase - Purchase raw aerospace material including, but not limited to ferrous and non-ferrous metals and sub-contractor services to support the manufacturing process;
3.Expedite - Expedite purchases to ensure delivery meets production requirements.
4.Obtain quotes, prepare price analysis and recommendations; Negotiate price and delivery terms; Identify cost savings;
5.Develop new suppliers as required;
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 5 years experience in a “small run” production manufacturing environment.
•Machine shop and sheet metal shop raw material buying experience.
•Experience with manual purchasing procedures
•Experience with MRP and ERP automated systems
•Excellent detail retention and recall
•Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
•Problem solving abilities and analytical skills;
•Accepts challenge;
•Strong negotiating skills;
