Part time Shifts are available for DAY/AFTERNOON/MIDNIGHT. Own reliable
transportation is required. The starting salary is $11.00 an hour, plus
shift premium as applicable. Perform visual, mechanical and functional
verification of part (primarily automotive) to ensure compliance to set
specification and quality standards. Collect and record accurate data.
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) required.

As a Customer Quality Engineer
you will be responsible for daily quality concerns and coordinating efforts
to ensure customer expectations are met. This position reports to the
Quality Manager.
Duties:
• Leading engineering teams in resolving quality issues using tools such as
Root Cause Analysis, Cause & Effect diagrams, 8-Discipline problem solving
reports
• Use of tools such as APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, PPAP, SREA, etc.
• Support of TS16949 compliance and actions leading to a Zero PPM
methodology
• Ensuring customer expectations are met and that customer requests are fed
back to engineering teams
• Maintaining close relationships with internal and external clients
Qualifications:
• Electrical Engineering Degree
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Willingness to travel regularly
• Previous experience in customer service and/or quality assurance is an
asset
On an ongoing basis the incumbent will be responsible for working with
existing systems and data to maximize our current customer insights, extract
actionable insights that will drive improved business performance
capabilities and recommend improvements to collect more and better customer
data.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
•3 - 5 years of work experience in quantitative analysis, interpretation and
communication, ideally in a database marketing position
•Proven experience in designing reporting, conducting analysis, recommending
alternatives to business decisions and measuring the resultant ROI
•Proven ability to re-design and implement new procedures, processes and
strategies
•Hands-on statistical modeling and SAS skills would be ideal
