traditional newspaper and tabloid classifieds printed on paper. Hey,
papers are a great way to advertise jobs, but lets face it, most of what you get
in that paper doesn't apply to you, and when you are done with it, it is waste.
Our ads stay online for a minimum of 30 days, versus paper-based classifieds,
that are printed daily or weekly. (By the way, if you do pick up a newspaper or
one of the many job sheets from the boxes scattered throughout the Greater Toronto Area, please
remember to recycle!).

At TorontoJobClassifieds.com, our
staff 'telecommute' to work, that is they work remotely utilizing telephone and
internet to communicate, thereby reducing carbon emissions (and traffic--you're
welcome Toronto!) caused by driving to work.
Paperless Invoicing is another
great strategy for reducing waste, therefore, to the greatest extent we can, we
use email invoicing. Further to that almost all of our other
communications are via email, eliminating the waste of paper-based
correspondence.
We reuse, then recycle our paper.
That's right! One-sided junk mail and office misprints are cut-up for note
pads. When we're done, its into the blue box for recycling.
We wear sweaters! Don't
laugh, by keeping the office a couple of degrees cooler in the winter, we are
able to save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions--every little bit helps!
We also keep the lights off as much as possible, we are fortunate to have a big
window in our little office!
